DETAILS |
The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls is located on approximately 9 acres of land on a former 19th century industrial site along both sides of the Fishkill Creek. The project consists of the renovation and adaptive re-use of a number of existing historical buildings, as well as the new construction of residential buildings designed to fit into their historical surroundings. In addition, the former Power House will be re-constructed to provide hydro-electric power to the site.

The site will be landscaped in keeping with the intent to make this a LEED-certified project. Storm water will be managed on site with infiltration and bio-retention basins, and woody and herbaceous native species are proposed for the majority of the plantings. A large garden is planned adjacent to the Event Space.

A trail with benches and observation decks on both sides of the Creek complement the park-like setting.

The project is intended to be LEED Certified.
